Congrats to Meggs

My good friend Megan got engaged over the weekend to Chris Jackson. They've set the date for May in the Bountiful, UT temple. She met Chris 2 months ago - thru his brother setting them up over the phone. Chris lives in California - and because of that Megan is moving in a couple of weeks. It will be sad not to see her as much! But I'll get to see her when she get's married! Congrats!

Thanksgiving's Done on To Christmas

So we survived Thanksgiving! It was a lot of fun (and i forgot my camera) - we went over to my cousin KayLynn's house in Eagle Mountain. My Aunt Kayleen was there along with my Uncle Neal and 4 of their kids and all of their kids, kids. In total there was about 40 people when all was said and done. Made for a tight quarters - but it was fun catching up with everyone. It was really nice cause Ty got off of work a little early and got to have some turkey!
Black Friday was fun too. I was invited to do with my cousins - BUT - they were waking up at 4:30 in the morning- and that didn't sound too fun after being up so late. So I passed - but woke up a little late and still got a lot of good deals. One of the best things is Ty and I got a microwave - it was only $35 and we got a little AM/FM radio thing that you can hook up your ipod to. So I call the day a success!
Now we are just trying to recover from everything - and get ready for the next week when we have to go back to reality! :(

Below is the picture I promised from the Hot Date last week. Ty painted Frosty and I painted Santa.

Torn ACL

Ty just got the results back from his MRI today - the dr. at first didn't think it was a ACL tear - but it is! ALSO looks like there are some other things wrong. So next stop is the Orthopedic Surgeon! Wish us luck!

Hot Date!

This last Saturday Ty and I didn't have much going on - so out of the blue he told me to go get dressed in my most favorite outfit - do my hair and make-up cause we were going out. I had no idea what we were going to do - but we went out on a date! FIRST he took me to this place called Color Me Mine - it is a little shop that you can color ceramic peices and they fire them and gloss them for you! Kinda cute.

I forgot to take a pic. of my ceramic - but we get them on Wed. so I will take a pic and post it.

THEN he took me to Barnes and Noble's and we looked around - picked out some Christmas books and read them to see which one we want for our Christmas book that we will read each Christmas Eve. We narrowed it down to the Polar Express and this one.

We will see - we still have a month to figure it out!

But it was fun to get out and feel human again! :)

New Brother-in-law

Yup - I'm getting a new brother-in-law. My sister Lucretia that just got off her mission from Arizona got engaged to her boyfriend that just got off his mission to France. It's been a little crazy - but they asked me to take their engagement pic's. I took one with my digital camera so I could post it. I'll post some others as soon as I get them developed.
Other then that - nothing too exciting happened this week. I did get this pic of Ty and Elwood!! We went to Fudruckers - and I couldn't help myself - it was just too cute!

When Spring Comes

Ty and I are going to be really busy when spring comes. We really didn't focus too hard on the yard since winter has been so close. But when the weather gets warmer - our yard is getting a make over.
Here are some pic's of our back yard.
This is the barn we have in the back. Has two levels - and we aren't quite sure what we should do with it.

Here is the barn from the alley!

Here is the dog kennel we have. They built a little house in there for a small dog - but Ty and I didn't know how many dogs have used it - so we are going to take it down in the spring. We are also going to put up new fenceing around our whole property.

This is a little spot we discovered underneath a mind blowing amount of weeds - this is right behind the shed at the end of our driveway - in the spring we are going to put a hot tub there.

Any ways, as far as us - we are doing good. I've started going to a spinning class - which oh my - if you ever need to be worked - go to one of those. Other then that we are just keeping busy with life.
