Kirsten & Dusty

This is my bestest friend Kirsten and her soon to be Hubby Dusty! They came down from Idaho to have me take their pic's! We had tons of fun and decided that next time they come down they have to stay longer!



While we were out at the lake Dusty was having a hard time focusing on the photo shoot with ducks around! So Kirsten and I goofed off!

She was a model in another life! ;) Mark you calendar's for Aug 1st when they say I DO!

She's was a little late but worth the wait!

My good friend Megan had her baby! Introducing Victoria (Tori) Jackson - born May 22, 2008 in Orem, UT - Weighing in at 7lbs 1 oz and 19 inches long! She has brown hair and sleeps like a champ! ;)

We took Dylan to meet his new friend...but he didn't seem too impressed - he was more concerned about the brownie's and the nurses walking in and out! Mother and Baby are doing great! It's hard to beleive that Dylan was once that small.....and quiet!

Mother's Day

My first offical Mother's Day as a Mom! It was fun! Really relaxing! Ty let me sleep in....but then he got called to go on a flood so I got up and hung out with my baby boy! It was a really nice day so I took him over to BYU campus and they have a little duck park - so we fed the ducks!Dylan didn't know what to really think about them!This Aflak-look-a-like chased us a little to get the bread that he wanted!This is Dylan trying to figure out why his feet don't look like the ducks feet!Ty also got me 2 dozen roses! (sigh)
And lastly - I got bangs! Ty took me and got my hair washed, cut, and eyebrows waxed! :) I also took Dylan and Timber in the back yard and just relaxed and played around! I think I like Mother's Day! ;)

Finding the Photographer in Me!

So I've always liked taking pretty pictures. And a little while ago - Ty told me...."Adalynn - if you like taking pic's - do it!" So that is what I have started doing. Here are a few! Tell me what you think.....honestly!

1st Baseball Game

Last night we took Dylan to his first Baseball game! He did really good up until the 7th inning stretch - and then the fort broke! We didn't bring a bottle OR a blanket - so we had to leave a little early! But it was still fun to get out and enjoy some baseball! Our little family by the dugout!

My sister that we went with - entered a contest! She got a dinner for her family from KFC for winning! Whoa! :)

And this is Dylan playing with her winnings! We will deffinately go again - and next time we will come a little more prepared to stay the whole time!

So - I can offically say I know someone famous......kind of! My friend/ex-co-worker is amazing and lost a lot of weight - and got a deal with 24 Hour Fitness! She was there beside me when I was prego - chanting with me that I wasn't getting fat, I was growing a baby! AND she introduced me to spin class! Any who - I'm way proud of her!

New Me-h-i-co

This last weekend Ty and I ventured down to the far away land of New Mexico! Why you might ask - well Ty's brother Phil and sister-in-law Sarah live there. We were originally going to camp in Moab for the weekend - BUT the weather was not in our favor - and with 2 babies it would not have been fun at all for the mommies!

But we did stop in Moab......for gas! We always go to the Mavrick on Main St. and they have this really cool painting on the building next to it. There were SO many Jeeps! Made us just a little jealous!

But once we got to New Mexico it was all fun! Cousins got to play together and the adults got to gab and have fun! Ty went golfing and shooting with his brother! I went shopping! We went to have yummy Mexican Food! It was just so fun to relax and enjoy good company!

Dylan and Ivie took their baths together! It's becoming almost tradition!This was them the last time they took a bath together! It's been a while! So it was tons of fun!We also played tons of RockBand! It was really fun and addicting! We stayed up late each night rocking out to Bon Jovi!

We were glad to get home - sad to get back to reality! But we are deffinately going to get together again!

Sippy Cup

After just a couple of days......he's in love with his sippy cup! YEAH! I've had a goal to have Dylan totally off the bottle by 1 year! And I think it's going to happen! AND he looks so dang cute with his chubby hands holding his cup!
This is his excitment! Probably because mommy was excited and making funny noises!
But this joy was hard earned and still a little tricky at times!

I can't belive how fast he is growing up! He is 10 months old now so I probably should get use to the fact that he sure isn't degressing! I'm excited to see whats next!

AND if you have read my beagle's blog - you will know he had another girlfriend - Kiara! We are now offically, actively looking for a female beagle to be Timber's life long leading lady! I've enjoyed thus far the process of breeding beagle's that we are starting, unoffically our own Beagle Kennel! Updates to come!

ALSO this weekend Ty and I are headed down to New Mexico to see his brother and sister-in-law - AND our little neice that we haven't seen since her blessing that is turning 1! Time goes by WAY to fast!

Dierks Bentley

For anyone who knows Ty and I you HAVE to know that we LOVE country music AND we LOVE Dierks Bentley! It all started by accident when we went to his concert (because it was free) at the fair - 2 1/2 years ago. Then he came with Kenny about 1 1/2 years ago. <- Click the link to see what I mean! Speaking of Kenny - that is another great concert and the only reason I missed his last one in SLC was because I was giving birth! So here is the stage last night! We were about 8 rows from the stage! BUT he had a GA pit that I didn't know about - so next time I'm double checking the seating chart!
His opening act was Bucky Covington. I think he was on American Idol or something! Anywho - didn't really know any of his songs - BUT he had really pretty hair....and I swore he was wearing make up. WHICH explains the mustache - so people don't mistake him for a girl! ;) He really does have a great voice!
And then there was Dierks.....sigh! ;) He sang all but 1 of the songs that I wanted him to! AND the only other thing I was disappointed with......he didn't pick me to go up on stage and sing with him ;) JUST KIDDING!
SO I highly recomend the concert! If you ever see that he is coming to town - his tickets are reasonably priced and you will have a great time! .....Like Ty and I did!

Good News!

My life has started to slow down a bit! There for a little I didn't think I was going to make it! :)

The Yard Sale was a HIT! As soon as I put up the signs there were people everywhere! All of the stuff I sold was just sitting in my basement and for 4 hours of work - I brought home 300! Not too bad - I still have tons of stuff left over so in 3 weeks I'm doing it again!

This is Ty at one of his softball games! He is playing with his company team - AND so far they are 2-0! Big change from the past teams he has been on! On Monday he actually made the hit that won the game!

This is Dylan in his car seat! He is also doing good - sleeping through the night like a champ!

We ALSO found new renters for our apartment! I posted it on Craigslist - and 50 calls, 20 emails, and 1 day later! I had people BEGGING me for it! I had usually just posted it up at BYU and had it rented in about a week! This was a big change! BUT we found a cute BYU couple about our age so we are really excited!

This is Timber's New Girlfriend! Her name is Dixxi AND due to have puppies in June! Soooo excited!

Things have been going good! I've also been asked to photograph 2 weddings this summer! I'm excited for the practice and a chance to build my portfolio! If all goes well - I might be confident enough to open up my own studio!

I've also been enforceing "Unplug It Week" for my nephews that I babysit - THEY HATE IT! But it is good for them - they can't play with anything that is plugged in! It's been interesting - but not bad! Yesturday we planted Watermelon and Cucumber! Today we are going to plant giant sunflowers by my barn! :) In a few months we should have lots of yummy food to eat and pretty flowers to pick!

Well - I better get my day started! Gotta run!

Busy!

Sorry it's been so long since a post! I promise next time I will add pictures. Things have been a little crazy around my neck of the woods. Why you might ask - WELL
- My bestest friend Kirsten got engaged
- I've been working like crazy
- Trying to get my butt in shape for summer
- Planning a Yard Sale
- Studding Timber
- Finding new renters for our apartment
- Saleing the puppy! <-which happened way fast!
- Keeping track of Dylan.....he is every where........and has a thing with dog food!
- Babysitting my nephews!
The list could go on! ;) I'm enjoying it though! Tomorrow is our Yard Sale....wish me luck!

For Sale!

The little Princess on the left is up for sale - my sister that was going to take her just doesn't have the time. Sooooo - I'm hoping to find someone that would LOVE to add a precious little beagle to their family! She won't get very big - both mom and dad are about 18lbs. AND she is registered! Get the word out!

I Got the Golden Ticket!

So anyone one everyone in and around Utah knows about the Stadium of Fire. Every Fourth of July - they put on a HUGE firework show/ country show at LaVell Edwards Stadium. Well - this year it was announced that Miley Cyrus (a.k.a. Hannah Montana), the Blue Man Group, AND Glenn Beck were going to be headlining it! It was sold out in less then 10 min. And I am proud to announce that I was one of the very few that got through and got a ticket. I was probably one of the very few honest people - and only got what I needed. Scalpers got on and bought TONS - and are selling them for crazy amounts. I looked online and saw that someone was selling there 8 tickets for $1500.00 and that someone had bought them for that price. I got great seats for $90 for Ty and I! ................now if Ty and I can't go for some reason............I'm going to be rich!

Spring Has Sprun

Nothing says Spring more to me then tulips, baby animals, AND rabbits. Maybe I'm weird but it's true. Any Ways - for the last week or so we have had a stray rabbit in our backyard. It's been fun. Ty first noticed him in the mornings when he was on his way to work - he would just hop around. My nephews and I then befriended it a couple days later - by setting out greenery! We also named him Peter (we don't know for sure that it's a boy but...wild guess) Any ways - while I was making dinner I looked out the window and saw Peter - so I thought I would take a couple picture's.
He let me get pretty close to him before he took off - so I'm wondering how wild he really is.
Here he is hopping away! I'm not quite sure if I should catch him - probably not! He looks happy just hopping here and there.
And last but not least here is my little man. He LOVES Ty's hat's! And he looks so cute in them - I couldn't resist!

HAPPY EASTER

Sorry that it has been awhile since I have posted anything. Life has been keeping my little family busy! BUT I did want to make sure that I wished everyone a very Happy Easter! This is Dylan all dressed up and ready for church - he is so cute!

PuPPieS

This last weekend I got to go meet the puppies for the first time!

They are 2 weeks old and so small and fluffy! Another 6 weeks and we will be able to go back and pick up the little girl and take her home. My sister Christina is going to buy her - and I am so happy so that I can see her when ever I want to. We have had a couple more calls on Timber and I'm expecting a call any day now for Timber to go meet his new girlfriend. Which means hopefully *cross fingers* in two months we will have more puppies! We also got to take care of my nephew Tannar this last weekend. This is him with the little boy puppy! We had a lot of fun with Tannar - Ty and him built a toolbox together, he learned how to roller blade, and we went up the canyon and played some baseball!

Other then that I have been keeping myself busy by doing a little spring cleaning. I cleaned out our hall closet and i kid you not - I threw away 20 bottles of lotion that I can remember buying years and years ago - kind of embarassing. I'm going to keep our trash guy busy that is for sure!
