Congrats to Meggs

My good friend Megan got engaged over the weekend to Chris Jackson. They've set the date for May in the Bountiful, UT temple. She met Chris 2 months ago - thru his brother setting them up over the phone. Chris lives in California - and because of that Megan is moving in a couple of weeks. It will be sad not to see her as much! But I'll get to see her when she get's married! Congrats!

Thanksgiving's Done on To Christmas

So we survived Thanksgiving! It was a lot of fun (and i forgot my camera) - we went over to my cousin KayLynn's house in Eagle Mountain. My Aunt Kayleen was there along with my Uncle Neal and 4 of their kids and all of their kids, kids. In total there was about 40 people when all was said and done. Made for a tight quarters - but it was fun catching up with everyone. It was really nice cause Ty got off of work a little early and got to have some turkey!
Black Friday was fun too. I was invited to do with my cousins - BUT - they were waking up at 4:30 in the morning- and that didn't sound too fun after being up so late. So I passed - but woke up a little late and still got a lot of good deals. One of the best things is Ty and I got a microwave - it was only $35 and we got a little AM/FM radio thing that you can hook up your ipod to. So I call the day a success!
Now we are just trying to recover from everything - and get ready for the next week when we have to go back to reality! :(

Below is the picture I promised from the Hot Date last week. Ty painted Frosty and I painted Santa.

Torn ACL

Ty just got the results back from his MRI today - the dr. at first didn't think it was a ACL tear - but it is! ALSO looks like there are some other things wrong. So next stop is the Orthopedic Surgeon! Wish us luck!

Hot Date!

This last Saturday Ty and I didn't have much going on - so out of the blue he told me to go get dressed in my most favorite outfit - do my hair and make-up cause we were going out. I had no idea what we were going to do - but we went out on a date! FIRST he took me to this place called Color Me Mine - it is a little shop that you can color ceramic peices and they fire them and gloss them for you! Kinda cute.

I forgot to take a pic. of my ceramic - but we get them on Wed. so I will take a pic and post it.

THEN he took me to Barnes and Noble's and we looked around - picked out some Christmas books and read them to see which one we want for our Christmas book that we will read each Christmas Eve. We narrowed it down to the Polar Express and this one.

We will see - we still have a month to figure it out!

But it was fun to get out and feel human again! :)

New Brother-in-law

Yup - I'm getting a new brother-in-law. My sister Lucretia that just got off her mission from Arizona got engaged to her boyfriend that just got off his mission to France. It's been a little crazy - but they asked me to take their engagement pic's. I took one with my digital camera so I could post it. I'll post some others as soon as I get them developed.
Other then that - nothing too exciting happened this week. I did get this pic of Ty and Elwood!! We went to Fudruckers - and I couldn't help myself - it was just too cute!

When Spring Comes

Ty and I are going to be really busy when spring comes. We really didn't focus too hard on the yard since winter has been so close. But when the weather gets warmer - our yard is getting a make over.
Here are some pic's of our back yard.
This is the barn we have in the back. Has two levels - and we aren't quite sure what we should do with it.

Here is the barn from the alley!

Here is the dog kennel we have. They built a little house in there for a small dog - but Ty and I didn't know how many dogs have used it - so we are going to take it down in the spring. We are also going to put up new fenceing around our whole property.

This is a little spot we discovered underneath a mind blowing amount of weeds - this is right behind the shed at the end of our driveway - in the spring we are going to put a hot tub there.

Any ways, as far as us - we are doing good. I've started going to a spinning class - which oh my - if you ever need to be worked - go to one of those. Other then that we are just keeping busy with life.

For Halloween I was a 80's rocker! I think I might of won scariest costume......it was really scary! My hair was bigger this morning - I put sooo much hairspray in it! But halloween was fun - Ty and I are looking forward to sitting at home and passing out candy to the neighborhood kids - we will see how it goes!

More Pic's Of The House

Since I have been busy with school all this week - I am just going to put some picture's up of the house and call it good! I know, I know weak but..... I'm a busy girl!!

This is a little sign that I made to go outside of our door. Nothing too exciting - but when we get our dream house we are going to get a stone with this carved in it - and put it by our driveway!

This is what our bathroom use to look like after we tore everything out and then put the sub-floor in - not too exciting.

After A LOT of work this is what it looks like now - still not all the way done - but A LOT better then what it was. Trust Me!!!

Any who - that is our bathroom! As more exciting things happen I'll let ya'all know!

Back From Idaho

So we went up to visit Nicky, Phil, and Anna over the weekend! It was really nice to get away from it all and relax - but we were all tired on our way home - especially Timber. This is a picture of how he was most of the way home. His hind legs were on the back seat and his front legs were just hanging - it was kinda cute!
This next picture is for Nicky - wanting to see pic's of our house - it is slow in getting put together - but will turn out really nice! This is our front room! Looks small with all the stuff we have in there - but we are soon going to be getting rid of Ty's big screen and trading it for a plasma - so we have more space. Thanks again Nicky for having us it was a blast!

Falling Leaves

Fall has made it's way here to Utah! I am loving it and hating it all at the same time. Loving it because of all the different colors I see - especially in my front yard. And hating it because of Jack Frost that seems to follow Fall. It's been fun to rake the yard and watch Timber chase all the leaves - but it is sad to think that snow is soon to follow and I'll soon have to leave my bed earlier in the morning just to start the truck and get it warmed before I leave in the morning. But - wow - time has really flown! This picture is off the pumpkin bags we filled a few days ago - as you can see we need to get some more and rake the yard again!

Oh Yeah!

We got to spend some time with my Aunt Carolyn that just went into the MTC - she got to get out and watch conference with her family that lived in the area! How cool is that!
This was us with her - as we were giving her up to the world of the MTC!

At Last

Yeah! Ty and Adalynn finally got the internet at home!
Here are they long awaited picture's of Ty and I's trip to the temple! Thanks to Nicky and her professional photo taking - they turned out great!

Bestest Friends in the whole entire world. I counted it up - 9 years that we have been best of friends - tell me that's not crazy!

I love this last pic! Might be going up on our wall in the house! We'll be getting more pic's up laters!

Oh How The Days Go By!

Just a little update - we are waiting, and waiting for our internet to be installed - we had it set for the 26th - but when they came no one was home - so they rescheduled us for the 6th of Oct. Ooooohhhhh I have been mad - it has taken so long for what seems so simple.
BUT to keep everyone up to date on all the happenings
Sep 9th - I went to the temple for the first time - that was exciting and scary all at the same time. (I went through the Mt. Timpanogos Temple)Sep 14th - Ty's 26th Birthday! It was fun we went to Famous Dave's up in SLC and had a great time getting messy!
Sep 15th - Ty's friend's from Wisconsin Zach and Renee got married.
Sep 23rd - Got sealed in the SLC temple - which was amazing and lots of fun with everyone that made the trip (thanks again!)
Sep 25th - My Aunt Carolyn went into the MTC - she is headed to the Charlotte, North Carolina Mission - My mom got to take her to the MTC - and she will only be there 11 days till they send her out which seems a little fast - but she will do great
Sep 26th - My sister Lucretia got home from her mission (see pic below)

She was in the Phoenix, Arizona Mission. She came over to my house last night and it was fun to hear some of the stories that she had! It will be nice to have her home again - I'll be able to catch up on all of my scrapbooking! ;)

From here and what my calendar is telling me - things should start getting normal again! September alway seems to be such a busy month! But we survived! Only 2 days and it will be October - Time really does fly!

Living Out of Boxes

Never before has that statement been sooooooo true! Ty and I are still moving in slowly. It is hard though with how busy we have been. Still have no internet at home - thus why there are no pic's with this post - but as soon as we get service i'll have some to show everyone of our bathroom that we have been working on FOREVER!!! It is turning out really nice though! We fineally got renters in downstairs! They are a really cute couple (Brad and Amy) from California - they are exactly our ages so- it has been fun! Other then that I have been busy with school and Ty has been busy with work - and Timber - is busy chasing his toys around his new house and yard!

Time & Eternity

I've decided that I like Ty and so instead of just trying him out for all time - we've decided to bump it up to All Eternity! :) I just called the temple to set it up and it looks like September the 23rd, 2006 at 9:20 am we will be sealed. For those of you that could come that would be great! I know that September can be a busy month - and it is kind of short notice. Ty and I are so busy that it is either that weekend or in November some time!!! IF you are able to come you can call me for more details! ;) I'm excited - but have the first day of school jitters- seriously pray for me! ;)

Family In Town

Just when Ty and I thought that things were going to slow down a little - they actually speed up! It is all good though! On Monday Ty's brother Matt came into town from California. It is really fun to have him around again. We haven't seen him since Christmas time so it is good to catch up. We've been excited but not as much as Timber. Timber on the other hand hasn't seen Matt ever since he was 2 months old - and so - as you can see by the pictures below - is making up for lost time!
This is one of many attacks that Timber made on Matt!

Timber also has a thing with licking his bald head!

Then yesturday I started back to school! This is my last semester though - and I am soooooo ready to be done already! It will go by fast I'm sure - it always does.

Then tonight Ty's other brother - Phil and his wife Sarah are coming in from New Mexico. They are going to be here to help us move, see our new place, relax, and have fun. It might be a little scary having so many Thiel's together but it should make it fun! Hopefully my next post will have pic's from this weekend!!

1 Year And Counting

Yup - it is offical Ty and I have made it to our 1 year marker! Because of that we decided to take the week off of work and have some fun
For the first part of the week Kirsten, Joe, Melyssa and Austin came down from Idaho to visit us and be our first tenants in our basement apartment!
This is Kirsten and Joe up at Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon.
We went to Lagoon for one of the days and this is Missy and Aussie on one of the MANY kiddy rides they went on!
Then for the second half of the week - ty and i headed up to Bear Lake! IT is beautiful up there!!!! We were in heaven just relaxing - walking on the beach - playing on wave runners - and for me taking a lot of fun pic's!
This is just shows you how relaxing it was! We also got to meet up with my friend Jessica! IT was a great week! NOW we are back at home - catching up on everything and getting ready for work next week!

UNDER THE WEATHER

Sorry friends - no pic's for this one! About 3 days ago I woke up with a fever and sore throat - didn't really think much of it - I ended up missing 2 days of work and landing myself in the e.r. at 3 a.m last night. All is well now - just really bad strep throat - but WoW! Those of you who know me well know that I don't get sick! I can't remember the last time I missed 2 days of work in a row because of being sick. But this one gave me a fever of 102+, body aches that would take me down, and a headache that I couldn't get out of bed with. For a while I thought it was West Nile fever (there has been a lot of that going around Utah County) - but I'm on med's and hopefully (cross fingers) will be up and in running order by next week when it is Ty and I's 1 year anniversary!
Hope everyone else is doing great! TTFN

BUSY WEEKEND

Soooooo things have been really crazy lately! This weekend we got our house!!!!

This is the view from the front - It is not very wide but really LONG! It is a older house (as you can see) But really cute and it is a duplex so we will be renting out the basement - hopefully here soon. Another favorite part of the house is the back yard.....

This is a little outside stove that came with the property! It hasn'e been used for a little - so we are going to fix it up and hopefully use it!

ALSO this weekend it was my birthday - I am offically the big 24!! Very exciting I know - I spent the day painting! We went out to dinner with my family and ended the night swimming and sitting in the hot tub! I would call it a great day!
