Time & Eternity

I've decided that I like Ty and so instead of just trying him out for all time - we've decided to bump it up to All Eternity! :) I just called the temple to set it up and it looks like September the 23rd, 2006 at 9:20 am we will be sealed. For those of you that could come that would be great! I know that September can be a busy month - and it is kind of short notice. Ty and I are so busy that it is either that weekend or in November some time!!! IF you are able to come you can call me for more details! ;) I'm excited - but have the first day of school jitters- seriously pray for me! ;)

Family In Town

Just when Ty and I thought that things were going to slow down a little - they actually speed up! It is all good though! On Monday Ty's brother Matt came into town from California. It is really fun to have him around again. We haven't seen him since Christmas time so it is good to catch up. We've been excited but not as much as Timber. Timber on the other hand hasn't seen Matt ever since he was 2 months old - and so - as you can see by the pictures below - is making up for lost time!

Then yesturday I started back to school! This is my last semester though - and I am soooooo ready to be done already! It will go by fast I'm sure - it always does.

Then tonight Ty's other brother - Phil and his wife Sarah are coming in from New Mexico. They are going to be here to help us move, see our new place, relax, and have fun. It might be a little scary having so many Thiel's together but it should make it fun! Hopefully my next post will have pic's from this weekend!!

1 Year And Counting

Yup - it is offical Ty and I have made it to our 1 year marker! Because of that we decided to take the week off of work and have some fun
For the first part of the week Kirsten, Joe, Melyssa and Austin came down from Idaho to visit us and be our first tenants in our basement apartment!

We went to Lagoon for one of the days and this is Missy and Aussie on one of the MANY kiddy rides they went on!
Then for the second half of the week - ty and i headed up to Bear Lake! IT is beautiful up there!!!! We were in heaven just relaxing - walking on the beach - playing on wave runners - and for me taking a lot of fun pic's!
This is just shows you how relaxing it was! We also got to meet up with my friend Jessica! IT was a great week! NOW we are back at home - catching up on everything and getting ready for work next week!

UNDER THE WEATHER

Sorry friends - no pic's for this one! About 3 days ago I woke up with a fever and sore throat - didn't really think much of it - I ended up missing 2 days of work and landing myself in the e.r. at 3 a.m last night. All is well now - just really bad strep throat - but WoW! Those of you who know me well know that I don't get sick! I can't remember the last time I missed 2 days of work in a row because of being sick. But this one gave me a fever of 102+, body aches that would take me down, and a headache that I couldn't get out of bed with. For a while I thought it was West Nile fever (there has been a lot of that going around Utah County) - but I'm on med's and hopefully (cross fingers) will be up and in running order by next week when it is Ty and I's 1 year anniversary!

BUSY WEEKEND

Soooooo things have been really crazy lately! This weekend we got our house!!!!

This is the view from the front - It is not very wide but really LONG! It is a older house (as you can see) But really cute and it is a duplex so we will be renting out the basement - hopefully here soon. Another favorite part of the house is the back yard.....

This is a little outside stove that came with the property! It hasn'e been used for a little - so we are going to fix it up and hopefully use it!

ALSO this weekend it was my birthday - I am offically the big 24!! Very exciting I know - I spent the day painting! We went out to dinner with my family and ended the night swimming and sitting in the hot tub! I would call it a great day!

staying cool

It has been hot here in Utah - as I was going down the road - I saw a sign that said it was 109! eeeeekkkkkk! So to beat the heat - I invited over my nephews and we had some fun in the pool here at our apartment complex.

This is Taylor - he is now 8! I am really starting to feel old! He is still learning how to swim....good - so I had him practicing how to kick his feet!

This is Conner! His birthday in next Tuesday and he will be 4 - as you can see by the fingers he is holding up - he is 3 right now! He is such a cutie and has sooo much personality!

Just a little update we still haven't gotten into our house - hopefully this next week we will close - and then I'll have more pic's to show you! Hope everyone else is keeping cool! ttfn

OUCH!

Sooooooooo - this is what happens when you try to be nice and donate blood to save someone's life. YUP - this is my arm.
My work was holding a blood drive LAST WEEK and i decided "self - this would be a good thing to do" and well - they ended up taking out the coffee straw - i mean - needle early because i started to bruise - meaning they didn't have enough blood and so would just throw it away AND leaving me with this little momento!
It is actually growing - so I'm seeing the doc to see if I have some sort of blood cloting disorder - lots of fun let me tell you!
Until then everyone I'm sure is thinking that I'm in some sort of abusive relationship. :)

just to catch you up.....

Summer is almost over - Soooooo - I wanted to catch everyone up on what has already happened. Ty and I kicked off the summer by going down to Moab - it was a lot of fun except for the wind - that never stopped! This is one of the arches we hiked to! It was really fun and we were sad to come back :(

Then - I am sad to annouce....I sold the beloved Sunfire! R.I.P - It lived a long and happy life. And for all the accidents it went through (none were my fault) it carried on - until this summer when "lil' car" couldn't take any more!

She will be dearly missed - but is in a better place now!

On June 21st - (the first day of summer) Ty and I went to the Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley, Carry Underwood Concert. It was so fun! Kenny actually made a surprise entrance by coming up in the middle of the crowd - It was a great concert! And I highly recommend Kenny (to the right) and Dierks (right below) to everyone.

Ty and I have actually done a lot more this summer - BUT we just haven't taken picture's - hopefully having this blog will inspire me to capture more of our moments to share with all!

And the bottom pic - is of me snowboarding up in Jackson......with no helmet......but i'm fine! :) Those who know me - know the story - if you don't just ask and i'll tell you what I remember :)
