My Little Secret.....

So I've kept this kind of a secret because I was afraid that something was going to go wrong and then I would look like a big fat liar - BUT- now that it's more than offical I thought that I would let all of you (which is to say there is more than 1 person that reads my blog! :) in on my little secret.....

I GOT INTO NURSING SCHOOL!

There I said it - it's out! I actually started the beginning of this month. It seems like it should be a dream but in 2 years I'm going to be a RN. Crazy huh! ANY WHO - now that you know this it probably can explain why I am so crazy busy - but it is well worth it!

So I've Made A Goal!

So summertime has found it's way to our house! AND I AM SO HAPPY IT HAS! I try to stay as busy as possible - with all the good weather we have been having. I feel like it's a sin to keep all the kids inside when the sun is shining outside. Oh and can I tell you how cute I think my kids are with tans and little blonde streaks of hair! LOVE IT! But lately I've been getting a lot of "How do you do it?"'s - SO - (since I'm at work and can't up load any fun pic's to look at of my kids) - Here is a look into my day!
6:45am - (if i work the night before) I get home from work!

7:30am - Dylan wakes me up to get into bed with Ty and I - this usually is by getting up right next to my face and saying "mommy" repeatedly!

8:00am - Twins wake up - now my day really has to start! Change the twins diapers - get Dylan to the bathroom and changed - then down to the kitchen.

- Breakfast - Twins get a BIG bottle of fruits/breakfast goods and some graham crackers etc. Dylan gets some fruit from the bottom frig. drawer, eggo's/cereal, some juice/milk.

9:00am - Down to the living room. PLAYTIME! During this time the boys play - I get the dog out, feed and water him, water the lawn, get the trash out, start laundry. Then I come in and change all the boys into their clothes for the day.

10:30am - Twins go down for 1st nap. They both get 6oz of formula, their blankeys and they are out like lights.

While the babys sleep Dylan and I go outside and play with Brewer, play baseball, play with the sidewalk chalk, or anything else that might come up.

12:00pm - LUNCH TIME - Dylan usually gets his choice of hot dogs, cheetos, a fruit, and a cup of milk. Twinners wake up from their naps - change diapers/potty time - give snacks, and we are good to go.

This is the time that I can get done anything that I need to. All 3 kids are happy and willing to do whatever I want (if I bring snacks!). I should note this is a small window I have! ;) But they are great kids and very flexible!

230 - 300pm NAP TIME FOR EVERYONE! I try my hardest to be home by this time because all 3 boys will go down at the same time. (ahhhhhhh sweet relief!) Dylan takes a cup of milk, and the babies take 6 oz of formula! (Mommy usually sneaks in a nap too!)

430pm - Start dinner- Ty comes home and we get to talk! :)

500pm - Boys wake up from naps - Dinner time! Twinners share a BIG jar of baby food - and crackers etc.

FAMILY TIME - we go for a walk, play with toys, or go shopping. OR when I have to work I leave for work at 530pm.

800pm - Bed time for Twinners - I get all 3 boys in the tub and watch them play. Twins will go down with 8 oz bottles and blankeys!

900pm - Dylan's bedtime - Read a book, say prayers, cup of milk, and blankey!

Clean up the house, chat with Ty, or just relax

10pm In bed - then I usually watch a little bit of TV with Ty. Usually Discovery Health or Man v. Food! :)

11pm - lights off, fan on, and I'm off to dream land!

Nothing to it.................right????

10 months - REALLY

These two little monsters are 10 months old. Hard to believe I know. Time has just gone by way too fast. These picture's were taken last weekend while we explored Gardner Village. Here is a little bit about each of these guys.

Gavin - (in the red) is the mover - he HATES to stay still. Always wanting to move and explore new things - he is really living up to his name as "The Professor"! He has 4 teeth in and 2 more coming in. He will stand up against the couch and isn't afraid to follow his older brother out the door! He is a great sleeper, eater, and talker!!!Gage - (in the yellow) is still my little cuddle bug. Always sucking his thumb and looking at me with those big brown eyes. He has 2 teeth in and 3 coming in. He is still content to crawl every where and would rather sit on mom's lap to watch his brothers go out the door. He isn't afraid to let you know what he thinks - which usually comes out in a cry! But he is always willing to wave HI to you to make you feel wanted! :) I can't believe that in 2 short months these guys will be 1! We are going to have a HUGE party! More for the adults to celebrate survival through the 1st year! I love being a mom! :)

Today I've just been remembering the two days in my life that has made this day so special to me! To tell you the truth I never thought that I would be a mom. Crazy I know! But now as I look at my little guys I couldn't imagine my life without them in it. Weekends use to be filled with fun and movies. Now I get to rock babies to sleep and watch a little part of a movie with Ty as I fall asleep! Oh how life changes! I love it!

So as most everyone knows I had a short stay in the hospital after a big scare. I'm totally normal ;) BUT I now know that I have what is called a PFO. Patent Foramen Ovale.

I was seriously sitting on my bed waiting for the Dr. to come in and tell me I was good to go home. When he walked in and said "Well it looks like you have a hole in your heart!"....."WHAT?" Everyone that had talked to me before that point had made it sound like there was nothing wrong with my tests and that the stroke probably happened for no known reason. WELL - they were wrong. The Dr. has put me on 2 medication (for the rest of my life) AND I now have a Cardiologist and Neurologist that I'm going to become great friends with.

This is a picture of what my heart mostlikely looks like. I won't lie - all of this has been a lot to wrap my mind around. And I haven't been happy knowing that I'll have to take meds for the rest of my life. I've always been the person that won't take the meds unless I HAVE TO. I won't go to the dr. until I HAVE TO. And here I HAVE TO do all of this for the rest of my life. BUT I won' t let this get to me. I'm greatful that I'm normal - that I won't have any lasting effects from all of this, and that I get to be a Mom to my kids. There were some moments that were very scary that I didn't think I would be the mom that I had been - very eye opening.

I want to thank all my family, friends, family, and neighbors for all the love and support. I'm blessed.

Silly I Know!

Timber Rufus Barkley

4 1/2 years earlier!

Saturday night as I was driving home from work I got a text from Ty - "Keep your eyes open for Timber he's gotten out again!" I didn't think much of it cause he's snuck out of the yard before and ALWAYS comes back a few hours later to the back door. This time he didn't! We've looked everywhere and called everyone we could and still no sign of our Timber. In my mind I'm picturing him on a "Bolt" like adventure (watch the movie if you don't know what I'm talking about!) But the reality that he's not coming back becomes more real as the days and nights SLOWLY go by.

As therapy to me and a tribute to the 4 years we had with Timber I thought I would "highlight" some facts/memories about him!

- Timber was born Sep 7, 2005 in Highland, UT

- He thought he was a human.....no seriously he did!

- He ALWAYS liked to sleep on my side of the bed!

- He was my protector! Even though he was more of a lover then fighter he always made me feel safe when Ty was working long hours.

- 1 week before we moved out of our first apartment he tore up the carpet in our room - all the way down through the pad! (ah memories!)

- His favorite toy was a small toy Snoopy!

- He was well traveled - he had been to Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah (all over), and New Mexico.

- He LOVED the snow!

- Cat's DID NOT like him at all! ;)

- He was Ty and I's first born!

- I would always joke about making Beagle Soup out of him- just to see what my nephews would say! Worked everytime!

- Thing I'll miss the most - Lazy afternoon naps with him and how he would always warm my feet up! :)

If any one in Utah happens to see him - PLEASE let us know! :o)

Our Neck Of The Woods

Hello all! Time has just flown by - so before any more of it gets past me I thought that I would post some pic's and show everyone what we have been up to. For some reason I have been really lazy about taking pic's - I know I really need to get better at it! But here are a few snapshots I did take! We took Dylan bowling for the first time a few weeks back! He had a lot of fun and came in 2nd place. I can in first (don't know how that happened) and then Ty was 3rd!

Dylan had the eye of the Tiger and was getting strikes if not spares almost every time!

He would always watch the bowling ball till it hit the pins - then he would start running around! He was having way too much fun!

We also raced a few times! It was a great night!

Then a little while later my sister Heather's Great Dane had puppies - 12 to be exact!

I want to say that these are some of the puppies when they were just a couple of weeks old. Their eyes were still closed and all they wanted to do was sleep!

Dylan had tons of fun holding them and kissing them! :) They'll be ready for new homes here in a few weeks -so if anyone is interested just let me know!

Then just the other night we took the kids to Jumping Jacks - just down the road from us. It is a place that has lots of air filled jumpy toys that kids can run on/jump on/slide down - till they are tired! We needed to burn some energy off of Dylan so we thought it would do the job - and it did! Ty and I had to take turns running around with him - but in the end his cheeks were pink - he had sweat dripping down his brow - and he was asleep by the time we left the parking lot!
I think this was the only time he stopped jumping!

All in all we've been having fun along with working hard! Ty and I have been truly blessed with great kids that seem to be changing every day, and that are so fun to hang out with! If any of you are in our neck of the woods we would LOVE to drag you along and have some fun!

So for New Years - Ty, I and the boys headed south to New Mexico to visit Ty's brother and sister-in-law. This pic. is of Ivie-bug with the twins and Dylan (me in the background). They really did have a lot of fun hanging out and just relaxing.

What's Up

So to say the least we have been a little busy around the house. With the sub zero weather that has rolled into Utah it has kept Ty really busy at work - and me and the kids stuck inside!!! Between Ty working and Me working - there went almost a week that Ty and I didn't see each other for more then a hour a day - and that hour was in the dark.......I'm starting to wonder what he looks like in the day light! ;) BUT here are a few picture's to show you into our world. In this first pic - Dylan found some swimming goggle's and put them on to watch TV it was the cutest thing ever.
NOW to explain the next picture's. I was trying to take pic's of the boys to send with my Christmas cards.....needless to say - it didn't work well.

Gavin was ALL smiles working with mom perfectly.

Dylan - would only growl at me - and this was the best I could get out of him before he took off his sweater and ran downstairs to play with his cars.

And this was the best I could get from Gage - who would not stop crying. I was so frustrated I ended up hardly sending out any Christmas cards.

NOW on to Christmas. It was a lot of fun this year for the simple fact that Dylan got the whole Christmas thing a lot more then last year. He knew who Santa was - and that he got presents - BUT that he had to wait to open them. Here are a few pic's from the morning.

Keeping Busy!

This is what I've been feeling like most days. Dylan didn't take his nap one day - and I found him like this after dinner one night.

Things have been going good around our little house. Winter and Christmas have snuck up on us WAY to fast.

The twins are doing great - at their 4 month check up Gage weighed in at 16lbs 1oz and Gavin weighed in at 13lbs 13.5oz. They have rolled over a couple of times (more on accident I think). They are both sleeping through the night and both are drool masters. I'm thinking they might be like Dylan and have teeth by 5 months.

And last but not least - here are some pic's of the twins doing what they do best - smiling at mommy!

So - I was talking to my mom this last weekend and she told me how she has been checking my blog for new picture's of the twins. WELL - Mom here you go! I got these this morning during tummy time. This is Gavin showing off! He was smiling at Dylan!

Then he noticed that I was taking his picture - I don't think he liked it that much! ;)

NOW this next picture I think is soooo funny. Today while the twins were napping Dylan was playing inside and outside - I was working in the kitchen - when I saw him run in and then out real quick. I looked outside to find this....

......I've found the way to get myself busier then I ever imagined! And the twins have nothing to do with this! :) Seriously - right after the twins were born I was thinking and feeling like the days were just dragging on FOREVER. BUT- I am now filling my days and it feels great! No wonder I got twins!

Here are a few pic's of what we did this last weekend!

We headed a little south to a town called Bicknell, Utah and hung out at a ranch! It was lots of fun and both Ty and I got to ride a horse bare back! This was actually Ty's first time EVER being on a horse. Dylan wasn't too excited about the horse - but he did feed them apples and grain!AND here I am! Proof that I did ride the horse! ;)The ranch was REALLY close to Capital Reef National Park. It is so pretty with all the red rock cliffs!There were tons of Petryglyphs to look at.

And we got to tour this old flour mill that was built 100+ years ago by pioneers.

And for a treat we got to try the famous pickle and lima bean pie! no joke! it was good!

All in all it was a great trip AND much needed! We have a few more adventure's up our sleeve so more pictures will be coming soon!

My Boys!

These three little diapers..... I mean little men have been keeping me busy! It's a good busy - and the reason why I haven't posted in forever. It is so fun to be a mom of 3! Each day things get easier and we settle into a routine. To catch everyone up on all of us........

Ty - Has been working hard and playing hard when he is home. At the end of this month he is headed out to Wisconsin for a job interview. If things are as good as they sound we might be moving out there for him to take this job. MORE DETAILS TO COME SOON!

Dylan - has been a great older brother. He LOVES to give kisses and loves to his brothers. He is talking more each day, loves to go on walks with Mom, loves his cars, AND now loves his "monkey" Curious George! He is silly! We also got his 2 year old pic's done (finally) so I will be posting those soon as well!

Gavin - Is still our little professor. He is really into looking around and trying to explore his world. He has the same grumpy face as Dylan - so I think I know what he is going to look like when he get's older! He got weighed the other day and is a little over 9lbs!

Gage - Is our little chuncker weighing in at 10 lbs! He is the vocal one and will let me know when he is not happy.......takes after his name sake (his middle name is Tyler!) j/k! He is a GREAT sleeper, loves the tummy time, and it looks like he might have blue eyes!

Me - Well - I'm hanging in there. This time off of work has been great - time has really flown by! At first days were lasting forever - now it's hard to think that these boys will be 7 weeks soon! We have had a great last part of the summer - and can't wait till next summer when we can get out of the house more and go camping etc. A big THANK YOU - to everyone for their words/thoughts of encouragement! I've had a lot of people approach me - and the ladies that have had twins - always say the right thing to keep me going! It's funny how prayers are answered sometimes! ANY WHO - I've also made a goal to post more - so keep watching the blog for more Thiel good fun!

What We've Been Up To

So - this past week we were able to have ALL of Ty's family here! This is the first time that they have all been together in like 8 years! It was really fun to see everyone and to just hang out. It was a little crazy getting all the kids in the car and getting them from point A to point B BUT we did it....and had some fun in the process!

Last Sunday we also get to bless the twins! Ty did a great job and it was really nice to have all of his fam there and most of mine! It was a little hectic - but I'm thinking we are going to get use to the craziness!

Here is our first little family picture with the twins! It really is crazy to think I have 3 kids! Any who - other then that we have just been getting use to life. OH when I took the twins to their 2 week check up they both had gained a pound past their birth weight (yahoo!) ANY WHO - more to come soon! :)

The Details!

So we have been home for a week now..... WOW - I seriously was doubting the fact that I would make it this far! It's been a crazy adventure so far!!!

SO - for the details of the big day! I was suppose to go in at 10 am that day and at 945 they called and told me that they were over booked and that they needed me to wait 2 more hours. SO I waited 2 more hours.....and called.....and they told me to wait 2 more hours. OH I was so frustrated! I tried to stay calm but it was hard. SO 2 hours later we called and they told me to come down.

It seemed to go by really quick! And before I knew it I was up on the O.R. table getting my spinal. I ALMOST started crying but then one of the nurses said - "I can tell this girl is tough - she's going to have 3 boys - she's gotta be tough" AND with that I sucked back the tears and got tough. Within 5 min's we had our boys and I was so thankful to not be prego any more!

Gavin - on the way out decided that he wanted to take a big gulp of amniotic fulid so he was taken to the nursery and put on CPAP for a little. Then Gage - who had been head down - had to be born breach. Then while feeding Gage for the first time he stopped breathing on me - I seriously almost had a break down! They got him back up to par - only to find out a day later that he had a blood infection. They put him in the NICU and had him on antibiotics. It was the saddest thing ever to see him laying there. It took another couple days for them to find out that the blood sample had been contaminated - so instead of having to leave him at the hospital we could bring him home.

Now we are home and settling into a crazy life that is no where near routine. These little guys are small but growing! I'll post new pic's soon!

Crazy Busy!

So lately things have been a little crazy.....to say the least! But I guess that is what happens when it gets close to your life changing forever and you want to make sure that everything is in place for the life altering moment! :)
This last weekend we had a Yard Sale to get rid of all our junk before the move. Even though we didn't have the best weather we got rid of quite a bit - and had a decent turn out! The night before Christina, Steve, and all the kids came down. We had a little BBQ and then put our tent up in our living room and had the boys "camp out"! It was fun to have everyone here!
After the yard sale we headed up to see my friend Megan and her little family and to play Killer Bunnies! Such a fun way to spend the evening! ;)From Back to Front...of the Bike - Ryan, Connar, Dylan, Taylor, and Haylee!

Then this upcoming weekend my baby boy is turning the big number 2! Time really does fly! He such a fun kid to have around and I can't wait to see what new adventure's he brings to our little family! His birthday is going to be on Saturday - and it will be Cars themed! Everyone is invited!

Then also this weekend we are going to be moving to our new little house in Springville...pictures to soon come. It will be so nice to have more room to spread our family out over!

And then last but not least the belly pic! Me - 34 weeks prego!

I'm now going every week for a non-stress test, every other week to see the ob, and once a month to see the specialist. After next week it will be every week to the ob as well! I have truly been blessed with this pregnancy - I've been able to work both my jobs - and still have energy to play and be a mom! It's true when you hear the lord doesn't give you anything you can't handle! I look forward to being a mom again - twice over - and all the fun adventure's that come with it! Thanks for all the support thus far - and please keep it coming! Only a few weeks left! :)

The Slacker!

That would be me! I was talking with my mom and she asked me when I was going to update my blog.......yeah I'm a slacker! So here is a little run down of our neck of the woods.

THE TWINS - at my last apt. Gavin (Baby A) was 3 lbs 11 oz - and Gage (Baby B) was 4 lbs 1 oz! It was really fun to see them - and I even got to see Gage yawn - on the ultrasound! It was way cute. They are both breech right now - and at this point they are so squished they don't think that will change! I'm now going in every week for apt's - tomorrow I have 2! It's going to be a challenge just keeping track of them all!

DYLAN: He's been great - and so much fun! Ty and I say on a daily basis how blessed me are to have him. He is such a good kid - makes life a whole lot easier. His birthday is coming up here in about 2 weeks. Scary to think that he is going to be 2 years old already! We met up with Christina, Steve, and all the kids - and went to a Salt Lake Bees game. We ended up getting rained out - but it was fun up until that. It was airforce day - so we got a fly by - and lots of fun stuff to take home. This was the view we had!

In other news - if everything goes to plan we should be moving out of our house the end of this month! We are only moving about 6 miles down the road to Springville - but it is a bigger house that will have room for all 5 of us....6 if you include Timber! :)

So 30 WEEKS and now it is almost a daily question that I get asked......."When is your baby due?"...........me: "Well THEY are not due till August!"............."TWINS!!!!!".................Me: "Yup!" And I know this conversation with random people is just going to become more frequent as my weeks slowly melt away. The twins are doing great though - and oddly I am feeling great to. I had it in my head that by now I would be so uncomfortable that I wouldn't be able to stand it - and that the Dr would be sentencing me to Bed rest! BUT quite the opposite! I'm up and running - and with our house on the market I've been busy cleaning, and packing away most of our things we don't use on a regular basis. *cross fingers* that this feeling can last forever! :)
In other news Ty, Dylan, and Timber are doing great! Ty is busy working, playing softball, and cleaning up the yard! And Dylan is just my little man who is trying to talk more and more each day! Crazy to think that in about a month he will be 2! Any who - more pic's to come!

The Great Excape!

So this last weekend - we decided to take our little family on a vacation! You know one last vacation before I get really uncomfortable and don't want to travel! So we headed south to MUCH warmer weather - St. George. We stopped by part of Zion's National Park - Kolob Canyon. It was really pretty - and they had some hiking trails we could have done - but needless to say I wasn't feeling like walking much!Here is Dylan in his birthday outfit from Grandma Rose! He looked so cute in it!

Once we got to St. George we checked into our hotel - and I had to put up my feet. I officially started swelling - especially in my legs! YA!

The next day we headed out to the Outlet Mall - and to grab some lunch at In-n-Out!Dylan didn't really know what to think about the hat they gave him - but he sure did make it look cute! :)

Then it was pool time. The hotel we stayed at had a nice outside pool that had a waterfall - and a really nice indoor pool - so we got lots of water time in! The first day we were there it got up to 96 degrees - so it was nice to cool down!

The last night we were there - we went to a Mongolian BBQ restaurant. YUMMY! But the best part was - one of the ladies taught Dylan how to eat with chop sticks! AND in the process fed him for me! Needless to say - it was so cute AND so nice to be able to just eat and not worry about Dylan eating! He got pretty good at it - and they sent him home with a few pairs to practice some more!

ANY WHO - we made it home - and now it is back to reality! We should be listing our home in the next week or so AND my sister Christina just had her baby today - so needless to say we are going to be busy visiting/cleaning/going crazy! I'm glad I got a little R&R in!

Tulip Festival

This last week we took our little family and my sister Lucretia to the Tulip Festival that they have at Thanksgiving Point. The Gardens cover about 55 acre's - as you can kind of see from this picture of Ty and Dylan!

Dylan didn't really like the feeling of going down the hill - all the other kids were rolling down - and Dylan wasn't quite sure what to make of it all! Coming back up the hill with dad! And his cool-guy sunglasses half off!

Walking around the gardens I stumbled upon two very strange figure's in the bushes ready to surprise me! Who could the strange men be????

The Tulips were beautiful! And there was every color imaginable!

Also along our path we stumbled across a moose! Very scary.....and very fake! :)

All in all we had a great time and it was so nice to just relax and enjoy the beauty of the earth - and each other!

26 weeks!

So we have been crazy busy! Hence the lack of blogging! But in the craziness - we have started to get ready for Gavin and Gage. We have done some shopping and things are slowly starting to come together. Now I just need to get my hands on a sewing machine and start on all the crafts I have in my mind that I want to make for them.
TY - has been busy with work and his softball team! They are doing pretty good - next Tues. I'll remember to take the camera and snap a few pic's of him in action. He is also getting ready for the POST test and running every night. Needless to say the weight I am gaining....he is loosing! :)
DYLAN is growing so fast! Starting to talk here and there and just being a great little man for mommy! He will point to my belly and say baby - kiss it - and then wave bye-bye to it. It's really cute!
ANY WHO - also in news - we can officially announce that we will be moving from our little house the end of June - into a bigger place! As of right now the location is not known :) BUT we are actively looking and are excited for the move so we can actually set up everything we've gotten for the twins! WELL - more pictures to come soon.....promise!

So I had my appointment today with the specialist - and as always I got to see how my little guys are doing. AND - all is well! Baby A is weighing in at 1 lb 7 oz and Baby B is 1lb 9 oz! They have perfect measurements and all the concerns they saw before have gone away! Here are a few pic's that we got. They were both being a little difficult so I will have to explain them! This one is a 3d - baby had both his arms up by his face - and his wrists were cris-crossed. You can see one of his hands at the top. AND you can almost see a profile! What he has his arms against is the membrane that seperates him and his brother - you can see how thin it is!

This one you can see a nose and mouth shot. It is like baby is looking down at us!

This is a foot. It's upside down and sideways! They have grown so much since I last saw them!

AND this one is my fav! Their noses are almost touching! And this is how they were most of the time - it was like they were talking to each other face to face - so cute! Any who - it was a great day!

Happy Late Easter

For Easter - Ty, Dylan, and I took the long trip over to my sister Christina's house to do a little easter egg hunt and bbq. This easter Dylan was a lot more "into it" then last easter so we made it a little more fun! Ryan was great to help Dylan out and show him the ropes of how to look for the eggs! Dylan did quite well and found about 5!!!

His easter basket looked like a baseball - so he loved it - and has still yet to put it down. He will pack all of his cars in there and carry it around the house! SO cute!

He also got to play with some bubble's with his cousin! We all had a really fun time hanging out and just relaxing!

And this is what happend afterwards! He plays hard and then sleeps hard! :) All in all it was a successful day and all of us had way too much to eat!

Tomorrow I have a dr's appointment so more pic's of the twins will come!

23 Weeks & Counting!

Here is the latest pic of my belly! I went to my Dr's appointment today and everything looks great and right on track! We are getting more and more excited to see these little ones - but I can definitely wait!! Next week we have the yucky glucose test, an appointment with the specialist, and a little bit of baby shopping - so we will be busy!

We have for sure picked the names Gavin and Gage! But we are still working on middle names. We know we want them to be family names - so that is making it a little harder! ;) People have asked me if I can tell who is who - and if they fight etc. Truth is there is just movement everywhere and it's hard to tell if it's a arm, leg, or elbow! The only time I know exactly where they are is when I see them on the ultrasound! I'm loving it though! Here's to 16 more weeks!

What we've been up to

So to prove to everyone that we have more going on - then just the twins! I decided to take a few pictures of what we've been up to the past couple of weeks. First off - Ty's brother Dave was in Ogden on a job - so each weekend he would come down and spend it with us. It was fun to get to know him and show him a little of Utah. We went to Cabella's and showed him the fish! They are huge - I also got to try Bison - not too bad!

K - this makes us look like really big nerds - but we put this puzzle together! 2000 pieces - it took us about a month but we got the Las Vegas strip together!

Ty - has also been getting his motorcycle good to go. It is quite the process! But it is going to save us a lot of money - so we are happy - and he looks pretty cool in all his gear! ;)

And Dylan likes to do whayever daddy does - he looks pretty cute in the helmet too!And even though it has been a little cold here - Spring is still on it's way. This is our apricot tree! Now I know where the song comes from -Popcorn popping on the apricot tree!

Then last but not least - here is the latest belly pick! I had just got home from work so that is why I look so.....glowing in my scrubs! 21 weeks down- 18 to go!

It's time for another twin update! This is me about a week ago at 19 weeks along! ANY WHO - today I had my appointment with the specialists - and everything is looking great! Both babies are still boys (phew!) and both weigh about a pound each! I got to see both babies and every little thing about them is adorable......but I am the mom! :) Below are a few pictures of my fun.....stress relieving day!

Little known fact about my son - that some may or may not know is that he is OBSESSED with all that is Cars the movie.

This is him on a typical day and what he likes! He Car shoes AND socks, his Car toy and his Car sippy! AND this is just the tip of the iceburg. I know I've contributed to his love but he really does get excited- and it is so cute - who can say no!

What I'm really surprized about is that the movie still runs - with as many times as he watches it - you would think that the dvd laser would have burned a hole in it! :)

In other news - I have an appointment tomorrow with the doc - so we will have a babies update!!!! SIDE NOTE: does anyone know where I can get a t-shirt for Dylan that says BIG BROTHER on it! I want one for him to wear when the twins are born!

17 Weeks!

I've been telling everyone that I feel like my belly is growing daily! And here is the proof! This is the same shirt I was wearing in the last pic. - can you tell a differance! and that is just 2 weeks! Its getting a little harder to do the whole bend over and pick things up - and the up and down routine of life! But that is just what comes with the territory. Last night after Ty took this picture - He said "I'm so glad I'm not a women! Cause being pregnant just doesn't look comfortable!" Amen to that one!!! But it is all worth it in the end......right! Yesterday I got a call from my best friend Kirsten that she had taken her new little baby girl Lindsay to the E.R. and that they were Life Fighting Lindsay down to Salt Lake City for observation! I guess what happened is that Lindsay had a little cold that turned into a whole lot more. When they were about to take off from Jackson Lindsay starting having a hard time breathing and they had to inti-bate her. She is now at Primary Children's Hospital with the best care - and Kirsten, Dusty, and the grandma's are staying in my sister's condo in SLC to be close. Please keep Kirsten, Dusty, and Lindsay in your prayers!

Yesturday I was at work and I got a call from my doc saying that she could get me inat 2:15 for a ultrasound - totally off the record - just for fun to see what I was having! So I rushed over there on my lunch - met Ty and Dylan - and got the news. Baby B is right up front and wanted his picture taken so the pic above is of him. Baby A is more behind him and likes to shy away from the camera! :) ANY WHO - I now don't have to do as much shopping- which is a relief!

I've been thinking about the fact that with twins coming - there is going to be A LOT of diapers in my house - and one way of cutting back on it - is to potty train Dylan. AND - today we had success! I know this is going to be a long process - but at least we got started on the right foot! We have about 6 more months to hopefully have him dry through out the day! Sick House

Sorry that it's been so long without any word from me! Things have been a little crazy!
Dylan ended up getting a eye infection - a really BAD eye infection about a week and a half ago. As soon as we got that cleared up - Ty ended up getting sick - it was more of a ear ache and just not feeling good. I of course have been sick for the past 3 months and so..........nothing new. Well - my sister Lucretia was sick and I went over to visit her and the next day I was sick.
AND since it was a new bug in the house - I gave it to Ty and in a joint effort - we eventually gave it to Dylan. It's been a long journey but now all are well - except for me and a nasty cough I just can't shake.
ANY WHO - moral of the story - eventually we are going to leave the house - and get some fun pic's to post! :)

We're having TWINS!

If you are in shock, screaming, and/or crying.......that is what I was doing when I found out. This is totally unexpected. But as I say expect the unexpected! To clear the record though we were trying to get pregnant and so this was not a surprize pregnancy at all. It's just a surprize that there are 2 instead of 1!
This is Baby A - Sorry for the bad quality of picture - better one's will come soon! This little booger was hiding and playing shy - soo this is the only pic we got!

My due date is August 4, 2009 - and so as you can probably guess things are going to be CRAZY! We have to make a few "life" changes - but I know everything is going to run smooth! We've already decided with the doc's to have a scheduled C-Section - so we will know the day and time we will have the babies! I'm going to be closely watched so more picture's will come soon of my two little babies!

Snow Day!

Today was a snow day here in Utah! It hasn't stopped since last night! So I decided to take Dylan out in his new snow suit and shovel part of the driveway. While I was shoveling - Dylan went over and grabbed a rake. (He use to help me rake the leaves!) So to him it was the only natural thing to do - rake snow!

He was such a good helper!

This is our truck.......that the keys are still missing to! As you can see it's snowed so much that the bed of our truck is almost full! We do have good news about the keys though - if you ever loose the only set of keys all you have to do is take proof of ownership, the VIN number, and photo i.d. into your local dealership and they can make you a new key in 10 min! AND it's only going to cost $12! Made my day to find that out! Hope everyone else has a fun snow day!

Our Very Merry Christmas

So - to catch everyone up......I know I am really late......but here is a little of our Christmas.
We ended up going out to Wisconsin to spend it with Ty's family. It was a surprize and it turned out to be perfect timing because Ty's Mom landed herself in the hospital with blood clots in both lungs.......sound familiar! Everything turned out fine with the blood clots - BUT - it was nice to be there for Rose so she didn't have to get up and run around so much! We got there the Tuesday before Christmas and spent the night at Ty's Best Friend's house. We were going to wait and walk in the door during the Thiel Christmas Eve Dinner - but when we heard that Ty's brother Matt was also coming into town we wanted to make sure we got our bed - so we headed over a little early! It was still great to surprize everyone! Now they are never going to believe that we aren't coming out!
This is my neice Gracie and Dylan! Dylan is actually smiling!!!! They played together soooo good!

For the most part we just hung out and played games! This is me and Amber right before we watched the Polar Express 3D! And Dylan handing me Sunkist after he spilt it all over him......so nice!

These next pictures look bad but are really funny! This is of Dylan and his cousin Nolan! They LOVED playing in the dog kennel - they would take their toys in there and have a great time. This was during the Packer Party - hence all the Packer gear they have on!

And Gracie wanted to sneak in too! Dylan LOVED her! And Nolan would call out for "Dill-win" to come and play! It was hard to leave - but it was nice to come home and sleep in our own beds! Hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

New Year Resolution

FIND THE KEYS TO THE TRUCK! Yeah! I'm a genius - and the day we left for Wisconsin I drove the truck. I was driving into our driveway when I noticed the neighbors stuck in snow across the street! I jumped out - grabed Dylan and went to see if I could help. After which I came in the house - and started getting things ready to go. AND well - since then I haven't been able to find the keys. I've looked EVERYWHERE! And those were our only set of keys for the truck! Where else can they be?

Christmas Time!

I love this time of year! Even though things have been totally crazy this year AND we are still yet to have a decent snow fall - I have tried my hardest to get in the spirit of the season. This weekend really did help. Ty and I won tickets to go to the First Presidency Devotional.

This was the closest I could get my camera to zoom in on the First Presidency. This was the actual view we had of the whole program. We were really up there - but still had good seats to see everything.

After the program Ty and I got to walk around Temple Square (on our way back to our car) and look at the temple, all the lights, and the mobs of people that were everywhere!

We got to sit in the old tabernacle - this ALWAYS brings back tons of memories because of how many times I've been in here - and how many people I've been there with! Good times!

All in all it was a great date night with the hubby! It's kind of funny because Ty and I hadn't had a date night w/o Dylan since he was born. Then when we were down in New Mexico for Thanksgiving (I forgot my camera) we had the chance to go see a movie. It was so strange! And since then we have had 2 other times for it to be just us without the babe!

Anywho - I hope everyone is enjoying this Christmas season - and yes - soon you will be getting a Christmas Card from me!

Everytime I go to the grocery store I save AT LEAST 50% plus! No lie! Call me crazy - but it's awesome. Playing Catch Up!

K - so I know I've been a HUGE slacker in updating the blog. I swear I've been busy. Between work, home, and this little monster below it's enough to keep me running! If you haven't seen Dylan lately this is what he is looking like! Ty and I comment almost daily about how he is becoming more of a little boy and not so much our little baby each day. He has quite the sense of humor and loves to get into everything. He's a silly goose - he makes this squintty-eye look (seen here on the left) every time I try and take a picture of him! He is also play copy-cat more! SO CUTE!

On last Thursday we went to visit Megan and Tori (her little girl!) Dylan had a blast with the piano. He would play a couple of notes and then turn to us and start laughing! We might need to invest in one - one of these days!

Then that night Christina and I went to see Twilight. We were surrounded by high school girl's! We went to the 12:10 a.m. showing.....I know we are crazy! I enjoyed the movie because it stayed on track with the book a lot more then usual. BUT you could tell that it was aimed at teenagers - AND when they had started the film it wasn't as popular - but then by the end of the movie - when it was getting more attention - the make-up was better, acting was better, etc. etc.

This was the scene we were a part of - when I took this picture 1 line had already been seated! It was crazy! Side note - we waited in line 2 and 1/2 hours! CRAZY!

And Christina is probably going to kill me for this one but we were so delirious from lack of sleep that we were having WAY too much fun! All in all it was a fun night!

Now this next week we have Thanksgiving coming up and a trip to New Mexico - so I will be sure and take more pic's!

So this weekend we sold Happy. (sadness) We hadn't had any luck with our ad we had posted on ksl.com - so we took her over to Sportsman's Warehouse. There were so many cute dogs. While we were there we saw Blood Hounds, a Boxer, English Bulldogs, German Shorthairs, AND White Labs. She had lots of competition - but she went to a cute little family with a little girl that wouldn't let go of her. SO the lady who bought Happy didn't have the cash on hand SO her sister wrote us a check. WELL - her sister's last name is PARK - AND she is from IDAHO! Crazy huh!
ALSO - crazy random - I got stung by a bee.........in November. The little guy got we twice on my neck. I started feeling dizzy and tingalee so we went to the E.R. and they gave me Benadryl and some steroids. I usually have really bad allergic reactions - but since it has been so cold etc. the little guy didn't have enough venom - hence why I had only a mild reaction. Now - my neck just feels like I have a huge bruise on it. I REALLY DO HATE BEE'S!!!!

I woke up this morning and found that a monkey had excaped the zoo and was in my living room! Our Weekend Fun!

On Friday night Ty, I, and Dylan went to the Halloween Cruise. It was really fun. They take you out on the boat - half way through people zip line onto the boat - and then a little later a pirate comes by on his boat and tells some terrible jokes and they pass out candy. They also told Halloween stories and had HUNDREDS of pumpkins lighted up along the way! Made for a fun Friday night with my boys!

This is Dylan not knowing for sure what he thinks about it all. You can see some of the pumpkins on the shore. (It is really hard to take pictures at night on a moving boat!)

Then on Saturday (after our trip to Old Navy) We came home a Ty installed carpet in Dylan's room! I was so excited cause now I can sneak in and check on him w/o waking him up - and if Timber goes in on accident......Dylan will sleep right through it. We also have carpet in our room - which can I tell you - after YEARS of hardwood floors I never want them again! ANY WHO - hope everyone else had a great weekend!

So I took Dylan to Old Navy today - dressed up in his costume - just to get a free T-shirt and get a couple of the $1 T-shirt's for him. Well - I went in and they handed me a coupon for $50 dollars off my purchase! I couldn't believe my eye's - soooooo I got 4 t-shirts and a pair of jeans for me, 3 shirts for Dylan, and a shirt for Ty all for $5! How awesome is that! ANY WHO - just wanted to share my good news! Pumpkin Land

Last night we went to Pumpkin Land to pick out our pumpkin's. Last year we didn't get any.......I don't know why - but we didn't! Any who - this year each of us got one! Dylan LOVED the wagon (I might need to get one) and the pumpkin he has is the one he picked out!

I'm alive I promise! We've been busy but I always forget my camera - You know how it goes. Any who - here are some picture's I did take.
A little while ago we went to the Corn Maze at Thanksgivin Point. We ended up getting in for 2 bucks! And had TONS of fun! I would recommend everyone to go there.

It seems like just over night summer ran away and fall walked in! Where was I??? :) This picture was taken of our tree in the front yard! I also have leaves on the ground that I could rake! This kind of weather is great in the evenings! Not so much in the mornings! Another thing that has been changing around our house......without my permission is....

Dylan! He really is a little boy now! And he is so smart! I'm sure every mother thinks there kid is smart - so maybe I'm just a mom - but this little guy amazes me daily. He's starting to copy cat us. He'll say words.....when he wants to. AND I've been teaching him sign language and he's been learning it......and remembering it! Today was Please! And instead of just rubbing his upper chest - he does a full chest/tummy rub - I LOVE IT! Any who - life is great!

This last weekend Ty, Dylan, and I made the long trip up to Idaho. We got a late start on Friday because we slept in about 3 HOURS! So things were a little crazy at first (including me forgetting my camera) - but then it all came together.
We got to Nampa that afternoon - ran some errands and then out to my mom's place. My mom lives away from it all - and it is a long trip into town just to go to Target - so once we were out there - we had no cell phone coverage and we were about a good half hour away from everything. Made it crazy but it was good.
I had told my sister (Lucretia) that I wanted to make the program's for the funeral. So we got to work on those. Celeste loved to scrapbook - so it only seemed right that we scrapbook the program. This is how it ended up looking.
On the inside I ended up putting a little frog in the corner. She LOVED frogs - so it only seemed fit. It also helped that her favorite color was green! AND going off of what my sister had told me over the phone we got the right shade of green that she liked!
Celeste's favorite flower was the Tulip - so with each of the programs - we wrapped up a tulip bulb, attached a poem - and told people to plant it in remembrance of Celeste. I also put together a slide show of Celeste and put it to two songs that Celeste loved - the one I loved the most - I posted from you tube right after this blog - It is sooooo good!
I think everything turned out exactly how she wanted it to be. We got home last night- and are happy to be home!

In Loving Memory

At about 2:25 am - my sister passed away! I'm so happy that she is no longer in pain! I'm also happy that I believe I will see her again and that she is only gone for a short time. Don't get me wrong it hurts like crazy - but only for a little.
I got to talk with her on Friday - she helped me decide what I should make for dinner! There had been a couple other times we talked and it was so nice to hear her voice. A few days ago she even left me a voicemail telling me to have a nice day and that everything was ok. So that's what I plan to do - have a nice day and know that everything is ok!

It's no big surprize that Dylan is growing - BUT this last week it seems that he is becoming more and more like a little boy and not a baby boy! He's decided that he doesn't like ANY baby food - including fruit and dinner's that he use to love. He will also go to sleep with hardly any crying AND he is walking around everywhere!
We also got him some shoes that we can throw on him really quick as we are going out the door. HE LOVES THEM! If he isn't wearing them he will carry them around. SOOOO cute!
AND he has also become daddy's little helper. We had a little bbq and Dylan wanted to help dad with the fire! He's such a little man!

Just got the call that Timber's girlfriend Chloe - gave birth to SIX healthy puppies last night!!!! We are so excited! We have pick of the litter so if any of you want a really cute beagle just let us know! ALSO - Timber's birthday is on the 7th! He is going to be the big THREE years old!

So - I feel like I have a little explaining to do! Things have been crazy - and I've kept it all inside only letting everyone know the good and wonderful things that have been going on in my life. I hate to bring a lot of attention to me....because people feel bad for me. BUT needless to say I think it's time I get a little support - cause I'm inches away from going crazy if I don't get any! ;)
So here's the story!
The day after my birthday I learned that my sister has cancer. It took a week or so to find out that it was terminal. ANY WHO - the trip I took over to Denver the other week was to see her. For the last time. I've dealt with death a lot due to my profession - but it still didn't make it easy. It was good though. I got my closer that I needed - and I will alway and forever be able to remember her happy to see me! The doctor's gave her 3 weeks to live and she is on week #2! Every day I call and check up on her to see how she is doing. She has her good days and her bad. She really is a warrior and has tried to fight this as much as she could!
I've had a little bit to prepare myself for this next week - but please keep me, my sister Celeste, and my family in your prayers.

Road Trip!

So - on Monday night - we got the call that we needed to go to Colorado! Since it was so last min. i and my sister Christina along with Dylan and my nephew Preston piled into her little car and headed over the mountains to Denver. It wasn't a planned trip and by any means AND to say the least in being there less then 1 day - Christina and I were stressed out to the max. It's kind of nice because we think the best way to releive stress is to laugh - so that was our goal the 2nd day!

Christina and I have always loved the scenic wallpaper - so we tried to take a walk into the woods......didn't quite work!
Around Denver they have these really cool statues! This is me trying to dance.....key word trying!
On our way home we had to stop for gas and found the grave of Buffalo Bill! Random.....yes! Cool.......yes!

Right outside of Denver we saw this sign....only once! Is this Bambi's Dad?And we got to go through the Eisenhower Tunnel! Kind of cool!

We ended up getting home really late due to stopping a little more and trying to relax! I missed my husband and our little home sooooo much! Glad to be home!

3 Years Baby!

So yesturday was Ty and I's anniversary! I did have planned to go on a hot air ballon ride....but things fell through AND it was going to cost us a lot more - SO we ended up improving the day - and I think it turned out really nice.

We first went to the Living Planet Aquarium - I've been wanting to go there forever!

This little guy was there to say Hi to us!We had Dylan with us and he really did like all the colors and creature's!These little guys were really fun too!These are the sting rays that they had that you could touch. Ty was the only brave one. I have a thing for slimey things so I tried a couple of times but couldn't bring myself to touch it!

After that we headed to the Hogle Zoo!

Our first stop there was this white alligator! He didn't look too happy and was eye balling us down!

Mr. RhinoMr. ZebraMr. ThielMrs. ThielScene of the crime! Yup this is the place where Ty got stuck with me for eternity!

Then we went to the Mayan for Dinner! It is a really fun resturant in SLC that has divers and is themed! So much fun and really yummy food!

We were up on the third floor and go a good view of the show!Dylan liked the show too! He was such a good little trooper!

After that we needed to head home!

And got this little surprise! You might need to turn your head - but Dylan is walking! :) YEAH!

So Aug. 5th was my birthday.....making me 26! Crazy huh? It was a great day - so many people called or stopped by to wish me a Happy Birthday! <- Thank you EVERYONE for the thoughtfulness! Ty also through me a surprise birthday party at 6 in the morning! He decorated the living room with streamers and balloons! He took me out to the living room and gave me my birthday card - then sang Happy Birthday....ah! Later on he took me out to dinner at Olive Garden (yum) and then to my most fav. spot - Barnes n' Noble. Yup I know - I'm a geek! I wasn't feeling the best (had a cold) so we didn't party too hard. We came home - blew out the TRICK candles (hence the smoke!) - and then cuddled up to a good movie after Dylan went to bed! It was so nice! I got to relax and be with the people I love - who could ask for more?

The peace that I feel while I'm around the temple is crazy! I know I'm not perfect - but when I'm there I feel like I have a chance! I think this one is going up on the wall!

Weekend Adventure

This last weekend my bestest friend Kirsten got married! We were really excited to go because they had it in Victor, ID just outside of Jackson Hole, WY.

We got up theThursday night - just in time to go up 17th one last time and scream at little boys....ah the good ole' days!

Friday - we got our hair done. Here is the Bride, Maid of Honor, and Bride's Maid. And then we left for Victor - the bride was a little late BUT she made it and Kirsten Spaulding became Kirsten Eubank! We had a yummy lunch - and then chatted and mingled with the people. We then went over to Kir's parent's place had 4 wheeler rides, looked at all the fun toys they had - and then we were off to the drive in movie.While there we got the chance of a lifetime to see a want-to-be Kenney Rogers impersonator (who pulled up in a U-Haul) - he was there because of spudfest. Ty insisted on getting a picture with him - I am hiding behind Dylan because I was laughing so hard!After that we checked into our cute little hotel!

Saturday - we got to have a yummy breakfast, then went over to Jackson. Went to the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum - this is Ty in the upside down room!And this is Dylan in the room with TONS of belt buckles!After that we were off to have a famous Billy's Giant Hamburger. Then it was time to go home. We took a different way home - and got to stop in Afton, WY and Bear Lake, UT <- were we got a famous raspberry shake (yummy)! Then home again, home again - to sleep! Today I went to meet my newest set of Grand-puppies - they were born July 1st! They were so cute and little! I just sat by their little bed for about a half hour just loving on them and petting them - Dylan really did like them too - and was trying to say puppy! Then after that we went to Lagoon to help celebrate my neice's 6th birthday! It was a lot of fun......really HOT though - like close to 107 hot!

We went over to Pioneer Village - and walked around - we actually dressed up and got our pic's taken! I'll have to scan it on and post it - Ty was a cowboy, I was a bar maid, and Dylan was a little Indian chief!

We said Good Bye to Ty's little Nissan - and Hello to my little Pontiac! It was a much needed change. Ty's little car was about dead and needed A LOT of help. So I took it in for a trade in and they gave me what I wanted without test driving it.....he he he! So we ended up getting a AWESOME (as in half of what she is worth!) deal on this 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix! She wears my signiture color of red and fits like a glove!
In other news - if anyone wants apricots I have tons of them......no really I do!

My Little Bear

So life has been a little slow around here - it seems like we were so busy for so long and then BAM - nothing! It's kind of nice....and kind of weird because it feels like I should be doing something. But this next week - things are going to pick up again! We get to see Timber's new puppies that were born this month, then we are going to Lagoon this weekend and then next weekend I am headed (Ty has to work) up to Idaho for my best friend's wedding (and I'm the photographer!) - AND then the next book in the Twilight series is coming out the day after (scream!)! And then it is my 26th (yikes) birthday! Then our 3rd Anniversary.....Which I'm trying to book a hot air ballon ride! <-Ty never checks this blog so he will be surprized! So things are going to be busy...

Any who - this last Sunday Dylan took his first step! Nothing spectacular - but he took it and then fell! I'm so excited for him. It's always nice to see him get to these milestones because it makes me feel like I'm doing my job as a mom! He's becoming such a little boy- I love it!

Weekend Fun!

So this weekend went by WAY too fast! We had a lot of fun! Ty's brother Phil and sis-in-law Sarah came up from New Mexico - and invited us to go boating with them! It was a great day to be out on the lake - and Ty did pretty good! Showing off his mad skills!

Dylan was a trooper - and even took a nap while we were out! While I got toasted and came home looking like a lobster - it just made his tan deeper! Why can't I have those genetics?

In other news - Dylan is standing up - not walking yet - but standing next to everything!

I forgot to put this on the last post but Timber had another girlfriend over! It was so fun to have her for the weekend! Any ways - her due date is Sep 5th - and we will have pick of the litter!

Last night he had a lot of fun - when our neighbor came over and told us he needed Timber! We looked out side and saw animal control all down our street (at 10pm!) So we took him out - I guess we have a racoon problem! Well - Timber found them and was going CRAZY with the smell! We were hoping to have animal control help us get them out of the tree (Ty was talking hard to get them tazzered, and then make hats out of them!) But they wouldn't do anything other then set traps! No fun! :(

2nd Place!

After a very LONG day Ty's softball team (from work) took 2nd place in the Orem Rec. League! Here is Ty playing 2nd base in the last game of the triple header - by that time they were all sweaty, tierd, and getting hurt!

But they walked home with a trophey and that is all that counts! Yeah for them!

4th of July

This year it has been really fun for us! Here's a little about how we celebrated the 4th of July - it started on Monday when Ty's softball team made it to the semi-finals! It was fun to watch him have so much fun!

Yesturday - we had a full day - Ty ran the 5k! He did great and came in 1053rd! ;) Then we went to the parade that was forever long - but we got great seats in the shade! We went to my sister's bbq - had some brats and then like I mentioned in a previous post - we scored Stadium of Fire tickets. We had decent seats and then someone wanted to trade us so we ended up have great seats 18 rows up from the field!
This is our little family - Dylan didn't look like he was having fun just because it was a stranger taking the pic! Such a booger!
They had sky divers come in! Which was really cool!
They had a great presentation!
And then the fun part! The Blue Man Group was on first! WE loved it! So fun - next time we are in Vegas we are going to go to the whole show!

Then it was Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana! Ty and I didn't really enjoy this part of the show - but everyone else was going crazy! It was like we went into a different world - everyone chantting Miley Miley! Totally crazy! But then after she was done there was a GREAT firework show. Dylan slept through most of it and did great!

Then today we went to the pool and relaxed and got a tan!

This weekend has been a sucess and it's not over yet! Hope everyone else had a great one!

So Dylan turned the big #1 - and we of course had to have the birthday party! Things went really good - the theme was baseball - we had everything baseball - the cake (that I didn't get a picture of), party hats (etc), and I think it ran really smooth! We ended up inviting mostly friends and neighbors, having 2 cakes, and having WAY too much fun! Here is Dylan at the begining of the cake

This was a quick view of some of the guests! In the end I was so busy that I only had 1 hot dog and about 3 chips! But it was well worth it!
After the party we went to a Orem Owlz game!

AND Ty surprized us by getting Dylan's name up on the score board!

It was a great day - and hard to believe that 1 year has gone by already! It's been so fun to be a mom. OH - at the game we were sitting on a hill and Dylan stood up - with out any help -and not hanging on to anything - just to get a baseball - little booger!

So - if you read my last blog I thouht Dylan was teething - WELL - he has still had his fever (making my life.....not too fun!) So I took him into the Dr. today and the Dr. was stumped! Dylan has some sores in the back of his mouth and the fever. Our Doc actually called a Infectious Disease Doc to discuss Dylan's case. He came back with Hand, Foot, and Mouth Virus click here to find out more.
The not so fun thing is that there is nothing they can do to really help me....unless it gets worse! If Dylan still has his fever tomorrow - we go in for blood work! *Cross Fingers* that everything will be ok!

Sorry for the lack of blogging - but a lot has been going on. I have found out what it is like to be a mother to 6 kids under the age of 10.....for at least 8 hours of the day. HOW your might ask - WELL - my sister who just got married left on her Honeymoon - I agreed to watch her daughter Haylee (age: 18 months) THEN above mentioned sister also babysits for my other sister SO I took over that as well - thus adding Tristan (10) Tannar (8) Trinity (7) and Talley (5). And let me tell you - if that day really comes that I have 6 kids - I will not be blogging any more.
To tell everyone that it has been easy is a lie. It hasn't been hard either - just busy. Between the screams and cries of "They're not playing with me" to "He/She hit me" to "I'm hungry" Plus trying to keep 2 babies on their schedule - it's enough some days to make me think twice of having any more of my own! AND it hasn't helped that (I think) Dylan is teething and having a fever of 100 - 103 every 4-5 hours (for the past 2 days) THANK YOU to Nicky again for calling - at the right time and telling me to go to the store, get MORE meds, and fight it out. I was about to go to the e.r. - I was that frustrated!
But things will get back to normal soon - Friday is my last day of babysitting duty -and then it is back to normal.....hopefully. I promise to blog more normal blogs - not ranting and ravings of a crazy, burnt out, make-up-less, babysitter!

Viva Las Vegas!

So Ty and I got the opportunity to go down to Vegas for the weekend! We did A LOT and it seems like it went by too fast!

We left Friday AM and took our time getting down there. Dylan did great and we all took naps!When we got down there we said Hi to everyone and then went to our hotel to check in. We stayed at the MGM Grand and OH MY GOODNESS - I loved it. The bed was sooooo soft, and we had a HUGE bathroom! I would recommend it to anyone. Right after we got there - we had dinner and then checked out the lion habitat!

The lions were just laying around - but I got this pic of their paws! Big kitty cats! The 2nd day they had the male lion there with his big mane of hair - and I didn't have my camera so no pic of that!

FRIDAY NIGHT - we got to go to Kenny Chesney! YEAH!

We had nice seats - and because of the airlines being late - our babysitter was late and we didn't get to see LeAnn Rimes! BUT we did see Kenny so it was ok!Yeah for me!And here is the hot little body - Kenny himself!

We ended up getting in at 2am and dieing! But Dylan was up at 6AM the next morning!

SATURDAY - We had tons to do and no time to do it in. We had breakfast over at the Luxor - walked around a little - then headed back to our hotel. Got ready and then over to my sister's rental. Everything was going smooth - till the Limo didn't show up and all of us had to jump in what ever car was available and speed down to the chapel! They got married click here for pic's......look for Ty he looks SO FUNNY! ;)

After the ceremony they had a little get together - and then we had to run to our dinner we had planned! We went to the Tournament of Kings! It was a lot of fun eating with our hands, yelling, and watching people get knocked off their horses!

Dylan was really getting into it all!

Traveling with kids is so different! After the dinner was over it was time for Dylan to go to bed - so Ty and I just stayed up and watched movies all night!

SUNDAY AM - Leaving Las Vegas!

We got our pictures!And then headed over to the Hoover Dam! Ty and I hadn't been there before and wanted to see what it was all about! It was so fun!This was our Dam Tour Guide! Hey he said it! Dylan wasn't as excited as we were but he did have fun! If you can't see - Ty is in Nevada, Ryan is in Arizona and Dylan is stuck in the middle!

After this we headed home! It was fun while it lasted but it is nice to be back!

Things That Make Me Smile!

So I thought I would post a couple of things that made me smile. On Ty and I's way home from Lake Powell we stopped to get some grub in a small town (I don't even remember the name) ANY WHO - I get my drink look at the cup.......New for 2005???? Needless to say I don't think they get much traffic through this place! The cup was 3 YEARS old! Crazy huh! Made me smile! Then today I went and picked up my Kenny Chesney Tickets! My friend Chelsea knew someone who had extra's - AND Ty and I are going to be down in Las Vegas for my sister's wedding - AND staying at the same hotel he is playing at - SO when she called and offered them to me....I couldn't say No! ALSO Leann Rimes is opening for him! I Can't Wait! This REALLY makes me happy!

So this weekend we had the opportunity to go down to Lake Powell! Once a year Ty's boss takes down the crew to his House Boat and pays for everything!!! Pretty sweet - the only thing we really had to worry about was snacks and addmission to the park ($15)! How could we say No!? This was the house boat - 75 feet long, 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 3 stories high! It was pretty much amazing! And even though there was close to 30 people - you really couldn't tell!
Dylan didn't really like the water at all! It took him awhile to get use to it - and then he loved it!

She is a mother of 6 and showed up all of us on the wakeboard! ANY WHO - we are home to nurse Ty and I's sunburns and get back to reality - for at least a little! My good friend Megan had her baby! Introducing Victoria (Tori) Jackson - born May 22, 2008 in Orem, UT - Weighing in at 7lbs 1 oz and 19 inches long! She has brown hair and sleeps like a champ! ;)

We took Dylan to meet his new friend...but he didn't seem too impressed - he was more concerned about the brownie's and the nurses walking in and out! Mother and Baby are doing great! It's hard to beleive that Dylan was once that small.....and quiet!

Mother's Day

My first offical Mother's Day as a Mom! It was fun! Really relaxing! Ty let me sleep in....but then he got called to go on a flood so I got up and hung out with my baby boy! It was a really nice day so I took him over to BYU campus and they have a little duck park - so we fed the ducks!Dylan didn't know what to really think about them!This Aflak-look-a-like chased us a little to get the bread that he wanted!This is Dylan trying to figure out why his feet don't look like the ducks feet!Ty also got me 2 dozen roses! (sigh)
And lastly - I got bangs! Ty took me and got my hair washed, cut, and eyebrows waxed! :) I also took Dylan and Timber in the back yard and just relaxed and played around! I think I like Mother's Day! ;)

1st Baseball Game

Last night we took Dylan to his first Baseball game! He did really good up until the 7th inning stretch - and then the fort broke! We didn't bring a bottle OR a blanket - so we had to leave a little early! But it was still fun to get out and enjoy some baseball! Our little family by the dugout!
